2011 X-7 5.7L ILMOR
Sammy Duvall’s Watersports Center has gone through a lot of boats in the last 12 years, and they keep getting better and better with each new Mastercraft we add to the fleet. Two things that the SD Staff, our guests, and myself have really noticed are Mastercraft’s updated upholstery and the new ILMOR engine.
The upholstery not only adds to the style and comfort of the seating, but it’s also durable and easy to keep clean — two things that are important for a business like Sammy Duvall’s. But the biggest improvement I see is definitely the new ILMOR engine. This X-7 is noticeably faster than any other boat to come through our watersports center. Even with the added power, the ILMOR seems to run at a cooler temp and is very quiet, which is key for a boat that needs to pull guests all day long. The boat will jump out of the hole and then at about 27-28mph you hit the power band and accelerate even faster. The throttle response is also very impressive; it feels like you are driving a race car. Thank you Mastercraft and ILMOR for the upgraded experience on the water — the boat is awesome.
